Le congres americain reconnait la sacralite du mois de Ramadan

Le congres americain a vote cette semaine sur un projet de loi qui reconnait la sacralite du mois de Ramadan, 376 voix contre aucun voix ont vote pour cette loi qui reconnait le Ramadan comme etant un mois sacre et respect l'islam et les musulmans americains.

30 congressistes ont participe a ce projet de vote, qui permettera officielement de respecter ce mois de la part des institutions gouvernemental , les societes , les etablissemsnts educatif , et lieu public.

elisson le senateur americain musulman avait prenoncer a cette occasion devant le congress : moi autant que musulman je jeune le ramadan , je peux vous dire que c 'est un mois de pense et de vision et de la renaissance spirituel , et il est important de structurer sa vie en pernmanence.

"Recognizing the commencement of Ramadan, the Islamic holy month of fasting and spiritual renewal, and commending Muslims in the United States and throughout the world for their faith.
"Whereas since the terrorist attacks on the United States on September 11, 2001, threats and incidents of violence have been directed at law-abiding, patriotic Americans of African, Arab, and South Asian descent, particularly members of the Islamic faith;

"Whereas on September 14, 2001, the House of Representatives passed a concurrent resolution condemning bigotry and violence against Arab-Americans, American Muslims, and Americans from South Asia in the wake of the terrorist attacks in New York, New York, and Washington, D.C.;

"Whereas it is estimated that there are approximately 1,500,000,000 Muslims worldwide;

"Whereas Ramadan is the holy month of fasting and spiritual renewal for Muslims worldwide, and is the 9th month of the Muslim calendar year; and

"Whereas the observance of the Islamic holy month of Ramadan commences at dusk on October 15*, 2005, and continues for one lunar month: Now, therefore, be it

"Resolved, That –

"(1) during this time of conflict, in order to demonstrate solidarity with and support for members of the community of Islam in the United States and throughout the world, the House of Representatives recognizes the Islamic faith as one of the great religions of the world; and

"(2) in observance of and out of respect for the commencement of Ramadan, the Islamic holy month of fasting and spiritual renewal, the House of Representatives acknowledges the onset of Ramadan and expresses its deepest respect to Muslims in the United States and throughout the world on this significant occasion."

L'Empire State Building à New York sera pour la première fois illuminé en vert de vendredi à dimanche pour célébrer l'Aïd el-Fitr, qui marque la fin du mois de jeûne du Ramadan chez les musulmans, a annoncé un communiqué de l'administration de l'immeuble.

L'Empire State Building, le plus haut gratte-ciel de Manhattan (443 mètres), est souvent illuminé, notamment pour Noël, et pour la fête juive de Hanoukkah, rappelle le communiqué.

Le document rappelle que les musulmans célèbrent pendant trois jours la rupture du jeûne du Ramadan, et que ces trois jours de fête clôturent un mois de renouvellement spirituel par des célébrations en famille, des échanges de cadeaux et des aides versées aux nécessiteux. Le vert symbolise pour l'islam un événement heureux et important, souligne l'Empire State Building.

وافق مجلس النواب الأميركي في أكتوبر الجاري بأغلبية 376 صوتا مقابل لا شيء على قرار تاريخي يعترف بقدسية شهر رمضان المبارك لدى المسلمين، ويعرب عن عميق احترامه للإسلام والمسلمين في الولايات المتحدة وسائر أنحاء العالم. ويعتبر هذا القرار الأول من نوعه الذي يصدره الكونغرس بهذا الخصوص.
وقد قدمت القرار ورعته النائبة عن ولاية تكساس إدي برنيس جونسون واشترك في تبنيه 30 مشرعا، بمن فيهم النائب كيث إليسون من منيسوتا، وهو أول مسلم ينتخب لعضوية الكونغرس الأميركي في التاريخ.
راعية مشروع القرار الرئيسية، إدي جونسون قالت مخاطبة المجلس قبل إقرار القرار: "إن المسلمين الأميركيين يساهمون في النمو القوي للمجتمع والثقافة الأميركيين. ويلعب المسلمون الأميركيون دورا بارزا في العملية السياسية لبلدنا، ونموه الاقتصادي، وتطوره العلمي، ومشاريعه التجارية الحرة، وتسامحه الديني، وتطبيقه للقانون وأمنه الداخلي."
أما المسلم الأمريكي إليسون فقد قال للمشرعين أثناء بحث القرار "إنني كمسلم يصوم رمضان، أستطيع أن أقول لكم إنه وقت تأمل، ووقت تجدد، وانبعاث روحي"، مضيفا أن "من المهم أن تعيد تقويم حياتك، وتتأمل بدورك في المجتمع وتفيد جارك."
ووصف إليسون حفل إفطار أقامه مسجده بالاشتراك مع معبد إسرائيل في منيابوليس بمناسبة عيد الغفران (يوم كيبور) اليهودي حضره 160 شخصا بقوله "لم يكن لدينا العدد الكافي من المقاعد للجميع، لكنه كان عندنا ما يكفي من الطعام لأننا تقاسمناه .. مبرهنين مرة أخرى على أننا لسنا متباعدين."
وفيما ذهبت بغض القراءات إلى اعتبار القرار إيجابيا ومهما في مسار ترسيخ التعددية داخل المجتمع الأمريكي، أشار البغض الآخر إلى أن الخطوة ترمي إلى سحب البساط أمام ما يوصف بالتنظيمات الإسلامية المتطرفة غبر العالم، وغلى رأسها تنظيم القاعدة، والتي تتغدى بالسياسة "العدائية" التي تنهجها الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية في تعاملها مع الإسلام والمسلمين. ويظهر أن أمريكا، بمختلف مكوناتها السياسية "المتحاربة" تريد أن تظهر بأن لا مشكل لديها مع ما تسميه بالإسلام المعتدل. كما أن أمريكا ترغب في القطع مع فكرة سائدة مفادها بأن دولة "العم سام" تهمش الإسلام مقابل الإهتمام بالديانات الأخرى وخصوصا منها اليهودية.

وقد سبق للرئيس الأمريكي جورج بوش أن هنأ المسلمين بدخول شهر رمضان المبارك، وذلك في خطاب له بالبيت الأبيض. وقد نقلت هذه التهنئة إلى محتلف بقاع العالم الإسلامي وعممتها السفارات المعتمدة لدى تلك الدول على الصحف ومحتلف وسائل الإعلام

Salam alaicom mon frère

C’est gentil de leur part, mais le mois de ramadan est sacré pour les musulmans qu’ils le veuillent ou pas, et on n’a pas besoin de la confirmation du congés américain, mais en même temps cette reconnaissance est le fruit de la lutte des musulmans des states pour acquérir des droits, un big up pour eux d’ailleurs, donc c’est bien.
