Par défaut "Dreaming in Morocco"

"Dreaming in Morocco" profiles 9 young Moroccans between 18-30, whose dreams range from becoming a international singing star to just surviving another day; their dreams are inspiring, sometimes full of anguish, but more often of hope.

Yeah, it happens to me as well! It's always great fun, cause when I point out that I'm not from Monaco but from Morocco, they're even more baffled.

Salam,
thanks a lot for posting what it looks like a sociologic research made by an American teacher. I only want to stress on one things by asking a question. what's the point for making such research????? why Americans & westerns 'r still interested to know what, how, why , when etc.... about whatever we do , we think and so on.....
does it 've a connection with their agenda to weaken Arabic and Islamic countries much more than they are nowadays....??
what about America itself??? what about the raise of unemployment there, what about black rights, racial discrimination, pauvrity...what about Harlem, carolina, texas, philadelphia slums and so on...
these people claim to be a land of freedom of expression so why don't they let media from overseas to record their slums and to interview the blacks and rugged Americans there???
sorry to say this but i think we're naive and stupid while dealing with westerns. we open our doors to them, we open as well our hearts to them and start to reveal the good and the bad about ourselves and our countries.....
what i'm sure of it is that we still need maturity and a good reflection.....
thanks
