Par défaut Life in Toronto

Like I am moving soon to Toronto city, I would like to know what are the funnest neighborhood to live in ??

I heard the streets next to the university are quite lively....Queen street, King street, Saint laurence ???

I am a 28 years old bachelor so I don't intend to move right now on the suburbs for a pieceful existence....

And if you could give me some tips about the cultural life (festival worth seeing), it would be great ?

Thanks for your answers !!

i can only say that dowtown of toronto is awesome ! there's too many things to do in this city, first of all there's too much places to visit, then it's a multicultural city so normaly you won't feel any kind of racisism.
when i was there, i remembered that in the south of university street there were a lot of strikes, in dundas street there were a lot of festival, meetings on saturday and sunday. You can also find the eaton center wich is one of the biggest store. After you have the lake near from the CN Tower you can also find some restaurants.
oh an other thing if you like pub or this kind of atmosphere, not far from charles street you have the Panorama wich is located on the 50th floor of the manulife center building, personaly i didn't go there but aparently you have a great view of toronto.
what's else... of course in yonge street you'll find a lot of store theatre etc...
And in toronto there's a lot of comunity wich different area as indian, italy, gay, crotia, chinese area...
I can only talk about the dowtown of toronto cause i spent all my time over there .
i hope that you'll like this city.
(sorry for my english i don't speak english fluently yet)
