I just saw that Sterling is available on Street view. How the hell does a sterling dude can think about moving to morocco ?

i just took a glimpse at downtown Sterling.....

Lovely gas station by the way....lol

Haha, exactly lol. It's a big reason I've struggled with being homesick. Rabat is the biggest city I've ever lived in, and it's a long ways from home hehe. It's definitely a big shock.

By the way, in my graduating highschool class, there were only 23 of us :P

Hehe, there is really only 3 things I don't like. One is the pollution, because it is sooo much worse than what I'm used to. The second is the driving, because people drive like maniacs, seemingly unaware of the danger they put themselves and others in. The third is the smoking, because I don't smoke and can't stand the smell :P

So I don't dislike much other than that. Well, aside from the fact that Morocco is so far from my girlfriend :P

believe it or not, I have to follow other people to cross the road back home

What do you like most about Morocco?

It's tough to say... I really, really like the climate lol. The climate, and the fact that everything is so green. I've never been in a place like this before. And I really like the history. Going to Fes was awesome, walking through the really narrow passages and such. It seems like every place I go is the oldest place I've been lol, since this is the first time I've been out of the US.

And I can't deny that the people are generally awesome. People are always super excited when they find out that I'm learning Arabic, and they really seem to get a kick out of trying to speak with me in Arabic. Even though I'm terrible, it helps hehe.

You've actually chosen the right time, because it's not that green in the summer but every season has its beauty

I'm sure Fez was awesome because it's my city

Our people are generally very welcoming.

every moroccan city has its beauty, not only one or two, I agree with the fact that moroccan people are welcoming. as others said, you'll discover and know more about moroccan habits as long as you stay in Rabat, but keep in mind that in Morocco, you'll find good persons and bad ones as well, advantages and drawbacks, just like everywhere. which area are u going to in Rabat ?

I'm staying in Rabat now. I leave in 2 weeks. I'm gonna be sad to leave, but at the same time I'm really looking forward to going home. I wanna see my cat!!! And I would really like to be able to enjoy English for a while :P I really enjoy Arabic, but I think after 3 months I can take a bit of a break hehe. This weekend will be my last weekend to travel. I'm thinking about going to Merzouga, I think that's the name. My school will be going to the desert and camping out for a night or two, so I may do that. If I don't do that, I may go to Spain... tough decisions! :P

Haha ...

Reuben, you must be really homesick after all this time in Morrocco.

I'm used to go there every years, but after 1 month, i'm always feeling like going back to europ
