You'll find racism everywhere you go, maybe if you stop thinking about it and start living as it never existed, things would be a lot better for you. To fight prejudices you should prove to people they're wrong, and for that one should work for it, not just sit and whine. For people from Holland intending to immigrate to the US, I wouldn't advise you to do it, after 9/11 people are starting to look differently at everything that sounds arabic or muslim, and the american is not your passive PC French or Dutch.
