The international face of action hero Lara Croft has today been revealed as an unknown 20 year old model from Bethnal Green, London.

An unknown sales assistant and model has been plucked from obscurity to become the new international public face of action hero Lara Croft.

Karima Adebibe, 20, from Bethnal Green, east London, was chosen following a worldwide search for a roving ambassador to represent Lara for the launch of the next video game.

The Top Shop assistant will be the latest name to represent the archaeologist and action hero since Angelina Jolie starred as Lara in the Tomb Raider movies.

Adebibe will travel the globe for the next two years as the public face of the game, whose previous ambassadors include Nell McAndrew.

The self-confessed tomboy will embark on a gruelling training programme, including an SAS survival, combat and semi-automatic weapon-firing course in Eastern Europe. She will also take a crash course in archaeology, deportment, elocution and etiquette lessons so she can portray the 11th generation Countess.

Adebibe said: "This is an incredible opportunity for me and one which I plan to grasp with both hands.

"It's a huge challenge to follow in the footsteps of people like Nell McAndrew and Angelina Jolie, but life is all about challenges and this is perhaps the biggest one for a model and actress."

Tomb Raider brand controller Matt Gorman said: "Karima has all the assets needed to accurately portray the world's favourite female action hero.

"Lara Croft Tomb Raider: Legend sees Lara at the very height of her powers. This makes Karima the 7th and most important Lara Croft yet."

The seventh game in the hit Lara Croft series will see Lara return to her tomb-raiding roots. Previous names to slip into the iconic Lara Croft outfit also include Lucy Clarkson, Rhona Mitra, Vanessa Demouy and Lara Weller.

Oui mais toi t'es cinglé c'est normal! j'ai la flemme de traduire!! en gros ya eu un casting pour savoir qui va faire la nouvelle lara croft apres angelina jolie et la gagnante c'est une anglaise d'origine marocaine avec d'énormes....... potentialités
et ya les photos sur le lien donc si tu ve voir tu selectionne le lien tu fais Ctrl C et tu ouvre une autre page internet et tu vas dans la barre d'adresse et tu fait Ctrl V. Voila!!!!!!!!!!
