Would you marry someone you meet on the internet, such as on discussion boards, ?

Do you know of people who have, was the marriage successful or not?

It is on the increase and there are so many weirdos out there, but yet there are some that have been a success.....

I have known at least two couples who were married within a few months after they met on the net and theyre still together so at least in some cases the thing seems to work.

Personally I never met anybody on the web who touched me specially so I cannot speak for myself, all my partners come from the real world.

two of my friends did actually meet via internet, and now, they've been living together two years ago.

As for me, I don't think I can fall in love with someone I've never seen before. But if internet is just a way for meeting people that you'll keep seeing "in real life", and better know them, why not!!. never know from where cupidon will appear

I know some persons who got married grace in the meetings made by the net and which regrettably were a failure.
The man lives in France and the woman in Belgium, when they lived several months sets, they realized that the choice was not the check. The woman wanted to get married only to obtain her papers.
But let us not forget that there are all the same couples which are satisfied fortunately also.
Lets hope that it lasts =)

I think that the meeting in internet is a way to meet someone as everything else; you can meet someone in the street and keeping not seeing he ou she during months so I think that the net is the same, you meet someone there and after, there is the phone, and later, the real meeting.

I personally think it will not work , for a simple reason , in the net , you give yourself who you are not , and your chatmate sees and hear what he hopes to see in you , the results are too positiv and sometimes decieving . a face to face meeting and disscution is usually better, but i do not rule out the possibilitie of successful relationship , because this one is determined by other factors .
