Maybe you should ask the question in an english forum, so you can have the answers of English people.
As AlHemar said, you have to go there and build your experience on your own, because every one has its own experience.

But in general I would say that French people in England are very well accepted and they manage to integrate theirselves in the english society.
Because in England it all works on performance and not on origins as it may be the case in France (I said may ).
You are likely to be promoted very fast if you do your job well, but you can also be fired very fast.
You don't have the job safety that we have in France, but you can find an other job very quickly.

Each country has its assets and inconvenients.
You have to do your choice...

I do not AGREE 100%

OK I arrived in UK one year ago now after been working in a very posh bar in manchester (without experiance in catering) I found a job (have to speak 4 language) I am a sales in Electronic componant for the Western European Market.
I found it in 1 month and half

But my english was crapp and it still bad ...

There if you show your value you deserve it !

I have contrats of 5 millions of $ in average for each customers
